Christa Downey

Hi, I'm Christa.

Combining 20 years of leadership at Cornell University working with and supporting global leaders from Merck, Amazon, and more, I partner with organizations and leaders to build healthy, high-performing teams to bring their Boldest visions to reality for the greatest impact and results. During my 20 year career at Cornell University, I've led teams to high levels of performance and innovation by creating cultures of aligned values and priorities while leveraging strengths.

I've helped create team vision and mission statements, strategic priorities, goals, and action plans, as well as competency development rubrics and assessment tools. I've helped with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent.

I've been a coach to thousands of top students and alumni for career exploration and planning, and I've led workshops and team building retreats for groups of half a dozen to over one hundred.

Christa is also an Operating Partner at Chloe Capital, a mission-driven venture capital firm investing in tech companies with diverse leadership.

I'm a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). I am trained in Positive Intelligence (PQ), Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Clifton Strengths, DiSC, and 360 leadership Assessments.
